Morning Man Encore: Colin Ferguson!

Whenever I spend a few days at my mom’s house, I inevitably get sucked into something on the Lifetime Movie Channel. The other day, she was watching a movie called Mom at Sixteen that had a really good cast including Mercedes Ruehl, Jane Krakowski and the gorgeous Colin Ferguson.

Whenever I see Colin in a movie or miniseries like Because I Said So, The Opposite of Sex, and More Tales of the City, I’m always taken by how handsome he is. He has been starring as Sheriff Jack Carter in the SyFy TV series Eureka for the past three years, a gig he got shortly after the much ballyhooed US version of the British series Coupling died a quick death.

The Canadian actor just recently became an American citizen – a fine addition to the nation!

UPDATE: There’s a reason why Colin is on my mind. I was on my way to a play last night in Hollywood. Was walking down Santa Monica Boulevard with a friend and we bumped into Mr. Ferguson who helped direct us to the theater we were looking for (there are lots along Theater Row).

He could not have been nicer – or more handsome!
