Morning Man Classic: Philippe Leroy!

Yesterday I spent all day at the TCM Classic Film Festival and for the first time saw the wonderful 1968 movie Buona Sera, Mrs. Campbell.

It stars a gorgeous and lovely Gina Lollobrigida who is now 88 and was on hand for a Q&A before the screening at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre.

I was smitten with the Italian beauty immediately but as the film went along, I developed an even bigger crush on the sexy actor who played her boyfriend Vittorio.

His name is Phillip Leroy and if you’ve seen this movie, you know what I mean.

He’s now 85, still working, and has appeared in over 150 films since 1960.

Leroy has been living mostly in Italy since the 1960s and has worked extensively in Italian cinema, as well as in his native country.
