Morning Man Classic: Peter Brown!

Sadly, I was not familiar with Peter Brown until I read of the boyishly handsome actor’s death this week at the age of 80.
He starred as the eager young deputy Johnny McKay on the 1958-62 ABC series Lawman and played a Texas Ranger on NBC’s Laredo, another TV Western.
From 1972-79, He went on to play Dr. Greg Peters on NBC’s Days of Our Lives and later worked on other soap operas such as The Young and the Restless, Loving, One Life to Live and The Bold and the Beautiful.
His film roles include the 1964 sexploitation flick Kitten with a Whip, the 1964 surfing-buddy movie Ride the Wild Surf, and 1974’s Foxy Brown as a bad guy who is castrated by men hired by the revenge-seeking title character (Pam Grier).
His severed genitals were presented to his girlfriend (Kathryn Loder)!
One of his more recent films was 2001’s The Wedding Planner starring Matthew McConaughey and Jennifer Lopez.

Tim says:
So before I knew anything about gay men, gay sex, lust of man to man action, I was hot for Peter Brown.
The Lawman came from the sun, there was a job to be done and so he lived and they died by the code of the LAWMAN!
John Russell was pretty hot too! I guess I been a slut as a child too!
Joe says:
I had not heard that Peter had died. You know you’re old when all your teenage crushes are passing on. He was a very sweet guy and extremely handsome.
Charlie says:
I know I have seen him before, but I can’t place him. He probably guest starred on many shows between acting jobs. He sure was gorgeous. Sorry to hear of his death.
JP says:
Pretty much what Tim said goes for me as well. I was absolutely gob-smacked by Peter Brown as a kid. Very sorry to hear of his passing. Now I would be way more attracted to John Russell, but that’s the difference between when I was 10 years old and the age I am now!
Ryan Tronca says:
He was my grandmothers first cousin!
