Morning Man Classic: Christopher Reeve!
Christopher Reeve was born 66 years ago last week (Sept. 25).
We will never forget this handsome and talented actor and big screen Superman who lived the last nine years as a quadriplegic after being thrown from a horse during an equestrian competition.
He showed such courage after his accident becoming an activist on behalf of people with spinal-cord injuries and for human embryonic stem cell research.
He also continued to work as an actor in a TV remake of Rear Window and episodes of Smallville and as a director helming the TV films In the Gloaming and The Brooke Ellison Story.

Richard V says:
I remember him first from the Soap Opera called Love of Life. I know I’m dating myself but I was a kid watching while my mom watched and I didn’t think he was so tall, I didn’t know he had some major talent so seeing him on the big screen seemed logical, him playing Superman. That’s how I remember him.
