Do we really have to wait until June 29 for this hunkfest to hit theaters? You’re killing us!
The film is Magic Mike, a dramatic comedy set in the world of male strippers directed by Academy Award winning director Steven Soderbergh. It stars Channing Tatum in a story inspired by his real life. The film follows Mike (Tatum) as he takes a young dancer called The Kid (Alex Pettyfer) under his wing and schools him in the fine arts of partying, picking up women, and making easy money.
Soderbergh directed the film from a screenplay by Reid Carolin. The film also stars Matthew McConaughey, Matt Bomer, Joe Mangianello, Olivia Munn, Riley Keough, Cody Horn, and Adam Rodriguez.
Slated to open June 29, 2012, the film will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures,
