“Mommie Dearest” will be the summer’s ultimate scary movie night at Hollywood Forever Cemetery

I ask you, what could be scarier than scary Faye Dunaway playing scary Joan Crawford in a movie being sceened at a cemetery at night?

All I can say is: “Bring. It. On!”

To kick off Labor Day weekend on Friday, August 29, the Los Angeles LGBT Center’s Young Professionals Council presents Mommie Dearest at Hollywood Forever Cemetery.

The evening will not only feature an outdoor screening of the film, but also a pre-showing reception, live music, food and more, with proceeds benefiting the services provided by the Los Angeles LGBT Center.

VIP ticket holders will receive 6 p.m. and general admission doors open at 7 p.m., when guests will enjoy a hosted bar.

The movie screening begins at 8:30 pm and remember, “No wire hangers!”

Hollywood Forever Cemetery is located at 6000 Santa Monica Blvd., Los Angeles 90038

Prices:

$250 VIP includes: a blanket for four guests, early entry to the event at 6 p.m., complimentary drive-on parking, private pre-show cocktail reception, complimentary bottle of bubbly and specially-marked seating area.
