Molly Ringwald will be grand marshal ar LA Pride!

Molly Ringwald is going to be grand marshal of the LA Pride Parade on June 10!

I completely approve of this choice! It’s almost enough for me to finally get over the year Paris Hilton was grand marshal – almost.

The Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink and Sixteen Candles currently stars on ABC Family’s The Secret Life of the American Teenager and her character is about to embark on a lesbian fling!

She has starred as Anne Juergens on the series, now in its fourth season, since 2008.

‘They’ve dealt with gay characters, and they’ve dealt with gay characters kissing — they just haven’t dealt with ‘Molly Ringwald being a lesbian,’’ Ringwald says in the new issue of Out Magazine. ‘Seeing someone that they’ve grown up with, that they’ve identified with for so long — it’s a great way to break down that us-versus-them barrier a little more.’
