Miley Cyrus vows to ‘Stir Some Sh*t Up’ for US senator who said gays need perspective – at least they aren’t being executed
Miley Cyrus is hoping US Senator Tom Cotton’s office is being flooded with irate phone calls.
Cyrus took to Twitter and asked her nearly 20 million followers to help her ‘Stir Some Sh*t Up’ for Cotton for saying gays needed perspective when it came to controversial religious freedom laws in his state and Indiana.
‘I think it’s important we have a sense of perspective,’ Cotton had said on CNN. ‘In Iran they hang you for the crime of being gay.’
Cyrus, an outspoken LGBTI ally, posted Cotton’s quote on Twitter. In a separate tweet she wrote: ‘Let’s stir some shit up! Senator Cotton (202) 224-2353 !!!! Happy Hippies call & express why freedom is important to us & our country!’
Cotton is a Republican who has been in the Senate for less than three months. He had previously served one term in the US House of Representatives.

Iran he said hangs you for “the crime of being gay”. Now how would he like it if Iran called what he does in his bedroom a “crime”? What in the world was CNN thinking inviting this loose nuke on the air?
