Miley Cyrus: “I’m pansexual”
I love this girl’s openness!
Miley Cyrus had made clear this year that she’s not straight but she didn’t want to be labeled as bisexual.
Now she’s come up with a label she is comfortable with.
‘I’m very open about it – I’m pansexual,’ she says in an interview with Elle UK.
‘But I’m not in a relationship. I’m 22, I’m going on dates, but I change my style every two weeks, let alone who I’m with.’
Pansexual differs from bisexual in that bisexuality suggests there is just the male and female genders. Pansexuality means someone is also drawn to people who are gender-queer or transgender as well as male and female, according to Yahoo Health.
Last month in Paper magazine Cyrus said: ‘I am literally open to every single thing that is consenting and doesn’t involve an animal and everyone is of age. Everything that’s legal, I’m down with. Yo, I’m down with any adult — anyone over the age of 18 who is down to love me. I don’t relate to being boy or girl, and I don’t have to have my partner relate to boy or girl.’

It seems that its the hip thing: to not be just gay or straight any more. That’s too limiting. I’ve only heard of her dating guys so far. So much for “Pansexual”. Then she’ll end up marrying the opposite sex, just like you would expect. Blah, blah.
