Michael Urie reacts to “Shrinking” Emmy nod: “Grateful and proud, but mostly just real real lucky”

Michael Urie took to social media this morning to react to being nominated for an Emmy for his role in the comedy sering Shrinking:
I am literally the luckiest actor alive – these are my co-workers. Not pictured are hundreds of other people who make the sausage that is Shrinking. If not for all of them, I wouldn’t be sitting here today with an Emmy nom. Pinching myself, refreshing my feed to make sure it’s real, trying to breathe – grateful and proud, but mostly just real real lucky.
Urie will compete against co-star Harrison Ford, Ike Barinholtz (The Studio), Colman Domingo, (The Four Seasons), Jeff Hiller, (Somebody Somewhere) Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Bear), and Bowen Yang (Saturday Night Live).
On the show, Urie plays Brian, the funny best friend of Jason Segel’s character and he says he loves his character’s imperfections the most.
