Meredith Baxter reunites with her “Family Ties” castmates Michael J. Fox and Michael Gross!

Yeah, Tina Yothers and Justine Bateman were part of the Family Ties reunion at Sunday night’s TV Land Awards but Mallory and Jen weren’t the most memorable parts of show.

To me, it was all about conservative Alex P. Keaton (Michael J. Fox) and his relationship with his liberal parents played by Michael Gross and Meredith Baxter.

Meredith, of course, came out publicly as a lesbian last year and has since revealed alleged emotional and physical abuse at the hands of her former husband David Birney.

If you watched Meredith on The Oprah Winfrey Show recently, then you could see how close she and Michael Gross were and remain. And Michael J. Fox (pictured next to real-life wife Tracy Pollan who played his girlfriend on the show for two seasons) made some moving and supportive remarks via satellite about Meredith whose autobiography, Untied, is now in stores.
