Meredith Baxter is getting married to Nancy Locke!

Bumped into Meredith Baxter and Nancy Locke last spring at the LA Gay & Lesbian Center’s annual wine and food tasting event and they were so cute.

So I’m really happy to have just read the news – broke by TMZ – that they are getting married!

Sources tell TMZ that the couple went to the Beverly Hills courthouse Friday to get the official paperwork.

The wedding date (and wedding details) haven’t been announced, but the invites have already been sent to guests.

Meredith and Nancy have been together since 2005 and the actress went public about being a lesbian in 2009. Her 2011 memoir, Untied, details it all and it is a damned good book.

Meredith has been married three times before including for 15 years to her Bridget Love Bernie co-star David Birney who does not come off at all well in her memoir Untied.

While Meredith is best known as the mom on Family Ties, my favorite role was when she played Nancy on ABC’s Family and I think she was robbed of an Emmy for The Betty Broderick Story.
