Meeting an openly gay British Member of Parliament
Well, I’m beginning my third month at my new day job as Communications Manager at the Los Angeles LGBT Center.
It’s been filled with new experiences and one of them came this week when I spent time with Great Britain’s Stewart McDonald, an openly gay Member of Parliament (MP).
McDonald toured our various locations including the Center’s Youth Center where I watched as he had a private 45 minute sit-down with a handful of very bright LGBT people. Watching them interact was one of my favorite things to witness so far.
