Meet the adorable adopted son of Matt Dallas and Blue Hamilton – his name is Crow and he’s a character!

You gotta watch this video! I am in love with this family!

Actor Matt Dallas and music producer Blue Hamilton introduced their adorable adopted son Crow to the world via YouTube on Tuesday.

The couple, married last July, have adopted a two-year-old boy named Crow.

They were supposed to take in Crow as a foster child for a six-month trial period but, Hamilton says they fell in love with him on the car ride home.

‘We decided he was going to be ours, that we weren’t going to give him up,’ he says.

Adds Dallas: ‘There was about a six-minute trial period. … For this holiday season, we got the best Christmas present ever.

The couple discussed why they ultimately chose to adopt a child rather than try the surrogacy route taken by such couples as Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka and Elton John and David Furnish.

‘There were just a lot of kids that really needed homes,’ Dallas says. ‘There’s kids and babies waking up in office buildings, waking up in group homes. People that work for the state just don’t have enough time or resources to get to all of them.’

Dallas, best known for his years as the star of the ABC Family series Kyle XY, announced the pair’s engagement in January 2013 which was his way of coming out publicly as a gay man.

Their son Crow happily crashed their video before they could finish their announcement by repeatedly yelling ‘Daddy! Daddy!’ from the sidelines and giggling.

6 Remarks

  1. I love these guys for opening their home and their hearts to an unwanted child. No criticism to the narcissists who hire a womb to get a newborn, but there are thousands of children in need of loving homes like this. Bravo guys!

  2. Ok that made me weepy in the best way possible. I’m not much of a Christmas person but I will make an exception here. MERRY CHRISTMAS, happiness and health for a really beautiful family.

  3. What sweet moments. It makes my holiday all the better knowing this child has a home to call his own and two parents who love him. Really wonderful story, Greg! Thanks for sharing it.

  4. Adorable….all of them!

    ^^X^^

  5. Thanks for posting such a wonderful and warm Christmas “gift” of a truly loving family — where the child has two devoted parents for whom he obviously has made their lives so much more complete. Even more so because they opened their home and their hearts to a child who needed to call those who love him so much, “Daddy” and “Dad.”

  6. Crow’s a sweetie. Much happiness to all of you and Mazel!
