Matt Bomer’s costars show their support
Just last month at the TV Critics Assn. Winter Press Tour, I was among a small group of journalists who sat at lunch with White Collar stars Matt Bomer and Tim DeKay.
There’s an easy chemistry between them and the mutual affection is evident.
So it is no surprise that DeKay would be very supportive of Bomer’s decision last weekend to publicly acknowledge that he is gay.
‘I love him, love him, love him, and I am so proud of him,’ DeKay told EOnline.com this week. ‘He’s just a fantastic individual and I thought he did it in a very classy, elegant and eloquent way.’
DeKay plays FBI Special Agent Peter Burke on the highly-rated USA Network series oppsite Bomer as con-man Neal Caffrey. The actor believes that his co-star’s public step will be of help to others coming out.
‘I can’t imagine how many guys or gals were out there going, ‘If he could do it, I could do it,’ Dekay said.

Matt must be one great frackin guy! He is such a cool dude! Cool people attract other cool people. Bigots attract worse biggots. I bet in 2 generations all H-8 and bigotry will be gone, I hope!
