Mary Tyler Moore Show Monday: All about Betty White as the delicious Sue Ann Nivens

I just love how in her late 80s, Betty White has become so popular that there is a Facebook movement to have her host Saturday Night Live.

Well, she’s certainly got the chops!

She was a quarter century into her showbiz career when she filled in the gap left by the departures of Valerie Harper and Cloris Leachman who got their own spinoffs as Rhoda and Phyllis, respectively.

Enter the Happy Homemaker herself, Sue Ann Nivens, played tp perfection by Miss White who won two well-deserved Emmys during her three seasons with The Mary Tyler Moore Show.
