“Major Crimes” cast member Phillip Keene marries
So happy for actor Phillip Keene who posted on Facebook earlier today that he has gotten married.
Phillip and husband James Duff have already been together for 20 years and attendees of the Outfest Film Festival are used to seeing their names flashed on the screen as major donors.
Phillip plays the role of Buzz Watson on the TNT drama Major Crimes, a role he also played for all seven seasons on the show’s predecessor The Closer.
The handsome Phillip is a very low-key guy and did not post any wedding photos on Facebook, he simply changed his status to “married” and there are several congratulatory messages on a ceremony that took place sometime over the weekend.
It’s in the air! TR Knight married, John Barrowman married,Dot-Marie Jones engaged, Lance Bass engaged.

I had to do a lot of research to find out that you two are married. As a gay man MUCH older than you two, I am so happpy for you both. I have watched every episode of The Closer (and still do on reruns on Channel 50 in Chicago every Saturday night), and Major Crimes. I applaud the way you have handled “Rusty” throughout Major Crimes, and tonight I am watching the first episode of the new season (June 8, 2015).
Two great shows and two great guys. Phillip, I wish you were more accessable on the Cast and Crew info sheet.
