“Magic Mike” opens with a solid $39.2 million
Mark Wahlberg’s comedy Ted take the box office crown with an estimated $54.1 million in ticket sales but the male stripper flick Magic Mike finished a strong second by taking in just under $40 million.
I didn’t give it a stellar review because of the script but the dance scenes are good, the pecs, abs and asses heaven to look at and the opening shot of Channing Tatum’s behind as he gets out of bed is alone worth the price of admission.
