Lunch Break Videos: Tina and Amy (and Margaret Cho!) and other highlights from last night’s Golden Globe Awards

So what did you think of last night’s Golden Globe Awards?

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler were fearless as hosts and touched on everything from North Korea to Bill Cosby. And Margaret Cho? Ha! Loved it! Her deadpan face was a scream.

Well done!

I was a bit sad to see Benedict Cumberbatch lose for The Imitation Game but it’s hard to quibble since he lost to Eddie Redmayne who was so amazing in The Theory of Everything. I wish they could split the Oscar. Happy to see Michael Keaton win the Globe but he’s not my Oscar pick.

Julianne Moore is on a roll for Still Alice and I hope it continues right through Oscar day. She’s so damned good in this movie and in such a difficult role.

It’s her year.

I’m not into fashion and all of that but how can you not comment on Jennifer Lopez’s very revealing gown. I think very few women could really pull that off the way JLo does. She wears the clothes, they don’t wear her.

And then there was Jeremy Renner who just could not resist making a remark about her ‘globes.’

But for my money, Jane Fonda looked even better than JLo!
