Lunch Break Videos: Performances from the 2009 Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade

Caught big chunks of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade yesterday and, thankfully, it was very gay. Out Broadway stars Cheyenne Jackson, Alan Cumming and Gavin Greel (along with the cast of Hair) were among the performers as was gay icons Cyndi Lauper and Gloria Gaynor.

I can’t yet find video of any of their performances – except for Lauper – but did find some others that I also enjoyed and thought you might too.

John Stamos was just delightful singing Put on a Happy Face from his current Broadway hit Bye Bye Birdie. He shows what a true talent he is.

The great Cyndi Lauper sang Set Your Heart and was my favorite performance all morning because I love Cyndi’s passion and energy.
