Lunch Break Videos: In honor of Mary Wilson, here are five of The Supremes’ biggest hits

They had so many hits – 12 of them went to number one.

They were The Supremes, the biggest group of the 1960s aside from The Beatles.

Original member Florence Ballard, fired from the group in 1967, died in 1976 at age 32 and was replaced by Cindy Birdsong. Diana Ross, the lead singer and breakout star, left the group in 1970 to go solo.

Mary Wilson, who died last night, remained with the group with Birdsong and other singers until it disbanded in 1977.

Below are five of their hits – three with Ballard and two with Birdsong.
