Lunch Break Videos: Calming down to Carole King
I’m having the Internet day from hell. Connections just suck today. My little wireless device is broken and I’ve had to use free WiFi at coffee houses. It’s free for a reason: it doesn’t work half the time.
Grrr!
To calm myself down, I played a little bit of Carole King and my mood immediately improved. Carole has been one of my favorites forever. Here are two of my favorite songs of hers: So far Away (above) and You’ve Got a Friend (below) .

I just bought an original “Tapestry” LP and I am wearing it out. I remember my sister’s playing that album when I was like 10 years old and now to listen to it on vinyl is a trip. Great songwriter and singer. One of the best!
