Lunch Break Video: When Terry Ray washed ashore on Gilligan’s Island and was greeted by a cranky Mary Ann!

Dawn Wells died today at age 82. This is an encore of a post I did in 2015.

I met the talented Terry Ray in 2015 at the Cinema Diverse film festival in Palm Springs when his comedy From Here on OUT screened.

Terry had mentioned to me that he had done some filming with Dawn Wells recently. Dawn, of course, played Mary Ann on the classic sitcom Gilligan’s Island and in a series of TV movies.

What I did not realize was that Dawn would be reprising her role of Mary Ann in this brilliant short film that Terry has just unveiled.

Terry washes ashore and Maryann is sitting on the beach having a coconut water with vodka. Turns out everyone has gone to the ‘dark side’ of the Island except her and that woman who thinks she’s the world’s biggest movie star.
