Lunch Break Video: When spunky Charlotte Rae described Joan Collins as “a bitch”
This is so random and I’m glad one of my Twitter buddies posted a link to it last night. So this is a few years back and Joan Collins and Linda Evans are opening their play Legends in LA. One of the opening night guests is Mrs. Garrett from The Facts of Life!
Okay, her name is Charlotte Rae as if you didn’t know. For some reason, Miss Rae tells an interviewers that “Joan Collins is a bitch!” The Insider replayed the soundbite several times – once in front of Miss Collins who looks shocked and asks: “Who is that old cow?”
It’s just hysterical. For what it’s worth, I had a red carpet encounter with Miss Collins last year and all I can say is, Mrs. Garrett knows what she’s talking about!

I love the part where Charlotte in her high pitched Mrs. Garrett voice goes on about why Joan’s a bitch. I’m also shocked Joan called her a “Fat Old Cow”. This is great publicity for their show.
