Lunch Break Video: When Oprah Winfrey got a wonderful surprise from Mary Tyler Moore

Oprah Winfrey had been rubbing elbows with presidents and just about every other famous person in the world.

But back in 1997 she basically lost her sh*t when the late great Mary Tyler Moore surprised her with a visit to The Oprah Winfrey Show.

Oprah had watched Mary’s self-titled classic 1970s sitcom religiously and her scream when Mary walks out onto the stage is one of the great moments in the 25-year history of her daytime show.

Mary died today at the age of 80 after a few years of failing health. It makes this flashback all the more special.
