This is so inspiring even 13 years later.

It was less than two weeks after the horrific terrorist attacks in New York and Washington DC on September 11, 2001 that left so many dead and so many brokenhearted.

To try and left the spirits of New Yorkers, Liza Minnelli was invited to Shea Stadium to perform New York New York during the seventh inning stretch at the Mets game.

You could say she knocked it out of the park!
