Lunch Break Video: When David Fisher came out to everyone on HBO’s “Sex Feet Under”
Michael C. Hall, who will soon be starring on Broadway in Hedwig and the Angry Inch, is best known for his many years playing serial killer Dexter Morgan on Dexter.
Even before that series, I was a huge fan of this gifted actor who I watched each week as David Fisher on Six Feet Under.
During the first season of that late, great HBO series, David was still coming to terms with being gay. Here are scenes when he came out to his family.

I’m a big fan of “Six Feet Under”. A wonderful series that outing death, celebrates life; not the life you want to have, but the life you’ve got.
Regarding Michael C. Hall, I instantly fell in love with his acting, and I’ve remained a faithful fan since. However attractive Dexter may be, David Fisher is one of my favorite characters ever.
Next, of course, to Frances Conroy’s magnificent Ruth Fisher; an incredible young soul that tries to seize life with everything she has, the best way she can, no matter what.
