Lunch Break Video: What if LuPone, Liza, Oprah and other icons were auditioning for “Hello, Dolly!”

Singer/actress Christine Pedi of Off-Broadway’s The NEWSical is an absolute genius. Upon the huge news this week that Bette Midler will be doing Hello, Dolly! on Broadway next year, Pedi channels a bunch of icons and gives us a peak at what their auditions might have looked like. Her LuPone and Minnelli are spot on but her Bernadette Peters, Carol Channing, Julie Andrews and Angela Lansbury are good too. Not sure why Oprah is included here but that’s pretty spot on too. Enjoy!
