Lunch Break Video: Vicki Lawrence and Carol Burnett shine in hilarious “Mama’s Family” sketch
I’d never seen this before coming across it last night. This is a Mama’s Family sketch from a 1979 episode of The Carol Burnett Show.
Vicki Lawrence as Mama Harper and Carol Burnett as Eunice is always comedy gold and this sketch at the cemetery shows why. The love-hate relationship between the two characters is hilarious and, at times, heartbreaking.

A big Thank You for this clip.Tho it is funny as hell, it reminded me of of the back story of why and how Mama and Eunice’s love-hate relationship got started in the first place back when Eunice was a teenager.
