Lunch Break Video: Trailer for “The Perfect Family” starring Kathleen Turner as overbearing mom
I missed this movie when it screened at Outfest last summer and after watching the trailer, cannot wait to see it!
It’s The Perfect Family and it stars Kathleen Turner as a woman nominated by her church for Catholic of the Year. Problem is, her family just won’t cooperate. Her daughter (Emily Deschanel), instead of marrying a nice guy like mom wants her to, comes out as a lesbian! Then her son (Jason Ritter) leaves his wife and begins a relationship with a manicurist!
This looks like Turner’s most delicious film role since Serial Mom and as an added bonus, we get Thorn Birds star Richard Chamberlain back in a priest robe!
