Lunch Break Video: The original “We Are the World” with Michael Jackson, Diana Ross, Cyndi Lauper and more!
I’m so looking forward to seeing the updated We Are the World that was recorded this week.
I wonder how it will compare t0 the 1985 original which was just perfection with Michael Jackson, Diana Ross, Cyndi Lauper, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Billy Joel, Lionel Richie, Stevie Wonder, Huey Lewis, Tina Turner, Kenny Rogers, Paul Simon, Hall & Oates, Dionne Warwick, Kenny Loggins, Willie Nelson, Steve Perry and the great Ray Charles. Those are just the soloists! Also participating were Bette Midler, Harry Belefonte, The Pointer Sisters and Smokey Robinson, among others.
