Lunch Break Video: Super Liza saves those in need on “The Big Gay Sketch Show”

If you haven’t seen The Big Gay Sketch Show on Bravo, you must! It’s hilarious and also available on DVD.

One of my favorite sketches ever is the hilarious Julie Goldman playing “Super Liza,” a superhero who saves gays in trouble. The premise is that Liza Minnelli gets special powers whenever she drinks alcohol and that idea stemmed from when her fourth ex-husband, the oh-so-creepy David Gest, said our sweet Liza would beat him up after she had a few too many.
