Lunch Break Video: Some terrific “Glee” scenes featuring Kurt, Blaine and that you never saw

I love that Glee creator Ryan Murphy is on Twitter because he has been posting some scenes from the show that were left on the cutting room floor.

The first video is the ‘Box Scene,’ from Kurt and Blaine’s first Christmas together.

It was cut from the episode due to time constraints and is a real showcase for Darren Criss who comes off as the best boyfriend on Earth.

Kurt (Chris Colfer) is blue over being outbid on every item he wanted in the Elizabeth Taylor jewelry auction. Blaine cheers him up with a present in a small box – a ring box.

It’s not an engagement ring but instead a promise ring which signifies Blaine’s promise ‘to always love you, to defend you even when I know you’re wrong, to surprise you, to always pick up your phone call no matter what I’m doing to, to make you cookies, to kiss you whenever and wherever you want. But mostly, just to make you remember how perfectly imperfect you are.’

In the second clip, the couple is accompanied by fellow McKinley High glee club members in a visit to Blaine’s former school, Dalton Academy, to check out the competition.

The scene has the academy’s glee club, called The Warblers, performing the Jackson 5’s hit I Want You Back in a musical number cut from last season’s Michael Jackson episode.

Singing lead is bad boy Sebastian Smythe (played by Grant Gustin) who has romantic designs on Blaine which is clear in the way he sings the song directly to him. Blaine tries not to react as stands by looking as if he is going to explode.

2 Remarks

  1. When will this idiotic show go away? Enough already.

  2. Go away Ted.
