Lunch Break Video: See Kathy Griffin’s non-televised Grammy acceptance speech
I just came across this on YouTube last night and had not seen it before so thought I’d share with all of you who love, or don’t love, Kathy Griffin.
I think she’s a riot and am glad that, on her sixth try, she finally won a Grammy for best comedy album – the third woman ever to do so after Lily Tomlin and Whoopi Goldberg.
She looks smashing as she dashes up to the stage to accept her Grammy. Her speech, of course, is a little naughty but she mentions her 93-year-old mother Maggie at the end so it’s all good.
