Lunch Break Video: Playing Monopoly in “Mama’s Family” sketch on “The Carol Burnett Show”

So glad I came across this on YouTube because this particular sketch on The Carol Burnett Show was the first time I ever saw the characters of Mama and Eunice – and I got in trouble for it too.

I remember being up past my bedtime on a Saturday night watching the show with a few of my siblings. Our dad was asleep in the den oblivious that The Mary Tyler Moore Show had ended.

So we were watching Carol Burnett and this sketch came on and I remember laughing so hard that it woke my dad up and he was so irritated he turned the TV off and sent us all right to bed.

We saw most of the sketch anyway and, looking back, it really was laugh out loud funny.
