Lunch Break Video: On a rainy Monday in LA, I present the Carpenters “Rainy Days and Mondays”
It’s been raining in Southern California which has been a rare occurrence this year.
It’s also Monday.
So, of course, I started singing Rainy Days and Mondays in the shower because, well, that’s how I roll I guess.
Here is the official video of the Carpenters classic with me appreciating a young Karen Carpenter behind the drums where she preferred to be before she was put up front.
What a voice.

There will never be another singer like Karen. She had a silky voice like brandy, but there was so much ache and pain barely disguised in her music.
