Lunch Break Video: Meryl Streep’s top 10 performances are ranked – see if you agree with the choices
She has three Oscars, two Emmys, eight Golden Globes, two BAFTAs, two SAG Awards, seven People’s Choice Awards, the AFI Lifetime Achievement Award, the Kennedy Center Honors and the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
All that has been earned by Meryl Streep – plus President Obama is a fanboy.
This video features Streep’s Top 10 performances and most of them I agree with including the Oscar winning turns in The Iron Lady, Sophie’s Choice and Kramer Vs. Kramer. Also included are two of my favorite Streep performances in Julie & Julia, Adaptation, Doubt and The Devil Wears Prada but I’m surprised by the omission – even in the honorable mentions – of two of her best performances: One True Thing and Angels in America.
Enjoy the video – it’s very well done – and ask yourself how Sandra Bullock won an Oscar for The Blind Side over Meryl’s portrayal of Julia Child.

I agree about “One True Thing” and “Angels In America”. I would have included them in place of Doubt” and “Julie and Julia” (though she was great in those as well).
