Lunch Break Video: Maureen McGovern performs “There’s Got to be a Morning Anchor”
Since today is singer Maureen McGovern’s 62nd birthday, I went looking in YouTube for her big hit The Morning After.
Instead, I stumbled upon this charming little takeoff of the song that she performed on ABC’s World News Now as a tribute to the show’s anchors way back then: Anderson Cooper and Juju Chang!
It’s called There’s Got to Be a Morning Anchor. Ha! It’s so cute seeing our Silver Fox so young and not quite silver.
