Lunch Break Video: Linda Ronstadt and Phoebe Snow team up for a classic duet on “Saturday Night Live”

When I interviewed the great Phoebe Snow last fall, I mentioned that I remember when she and her close friend Linda Ronstadt belted out It’s In His Kiss (The Shoop Shoop Song) on Saturday Night Live in the 70s but I had never been able to find it on YouTube – until now!

It turned up as I was looking for videos to post in honor of Miss Ronstadt’s 63rd birthday which is today. It is even better than I remember!

I interviewed Miss Snow last year and mentioned that I never forgot her their duet and she said: “We just watched that together! We were intensely watching YouTube and we were just two nuts back then dancing the Cha-Cha! We wondered, ‘Is that us?’ We always talked about recording it. Maybe we still will.”
