Lunch Break Video: In celebration of Nicole Kidman’s 46th birthday, the train station scene from “The Hours”
Nicole Kidman won a well-deserved Oscar for her performance as Virginia Woolf in The Hours.
I think it’s this train scene alone that won her the prize and that’s because it is so well done, so powerful.
“It is miiiiiiiine!”
Kudos to Nicole for continuing to make interesting choices with roles in such films as Rabbit Hole, Margot at the Wedding, The Paperboy and Dogville.
Sorry Nicole, even I could only sit through Australia once!
Happy birthday to this outstanding actress with one of the cutest husbands (Kieth Urban) on the planet!

Jim Steele says:
After enjoying The Hours at a local theatre, I looked at my partner and said,”I thought Nicole Kidman was supposed to be in that picture. And who was that woman playing the leading role?” He explained all and I was even more impressed with Kidman.
Sam says:
Happy birthday to a consummate actress with a brilliant film career to prove it!
