Lunch Break Video: Ellen DeGeneres weighs in on SNL’s Kate McKinnon’s impression of her

New Saturday Night Live cast member Kate McKinnon is clearly a standout and is helping to fill the void left by Kristin Wiig.

McKinnon, who happens to be a lesbian, just nailed an Ellen DeGeneres impersonation.

Ellen saw it and clearly liked it.

“She’s really funny,” Ellen said. “I’m going to invite her to LA because I want her to go to Thanksgiving for me. It was fun to watch but it’s weird being impersonated. You look at it going, ‘Really? Do I sound like that?’ You think, ‘That doesn’t sound like me, that sounds like a cartoon character. … And I thought the same thing watching Finding Nemo.”
