Lunch Break Video: Cher makes memorable entrance on Letterman then has great chat with Dave

Yeah, there’s been a lot of Cher on TV lately but her appearances with David Letterman are always terrific. The first time she guested in the 80s she memorably called Dave an “a**hole” then a few years later she memorably sang I Got You Babe with the late Sonny Bono for the last time.

Even though she appeared on The Late Show on the same day as the release of her album Closer to the Truth, much of the talk focused on Cher being a part of the music scene in the mid-60s and her encounters with the likes of Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones and Brian Wilson.

There’s also some very funny tattoo talk and a dramatic entrance that takes just a smidge too long but is still pretty cool.

Cher, in a mini-skirt, just looks terrific in this appearance.
