It was 101 years ago today that the comic genius Lucille Désirée Ball was born.

She was only here on earth for 77 years but her legacy of laughter lives on through all those wonderful moments from I Love Lucy.

This is a scene from the Lucy Does the Tango during the show’s sixth season.

Ricky wants to rehearse the tango for the PTA show unaware that Lucy is hiding dozens of eggs underneath her coat.

The way he finds out resulted in the longest laugh in the show’s history.
