Lunch Break Video: Carpenters performing “Rainy Days and Mondays” on a rainy Monday in LA
It’s raining outside and I’m sitting at the kitchen table sipping on some hot coffee and kind of digging the whole thing.
So, even though it is a Monday, and it is raining, the whole situation really isn’t getting me down. But that doesn’t mean I’m going to miss the opportunity to post video of The Carpenters singing Rainy Days and Mondays.
Such a beautiful song and Karen Carpenter, as always, is just superb.

There is a young singer out of England named Rumer. First individual I’ve heard in years who approaches a song in any way similar to Karen Carpenter. We are long over due for someone who has that flair.
