Lunch Break Video: Brad Pitt in “Thelma & Louise”
After watching Inglourious Basterds yesterday, I’ve been on a bit of a Brad Pitt kick. Oh, who am I kidding, I’m always on a Brad Pitt kick.
Anyway, his Texas accent in his current film got me thinking about the first time we heard him do such an accent: It was 18 years ago in the movie that made him a star: Thelma & Louise.
He may have been a criminal, but who could blame Geena Davis for succumbing to his charms? After all, he did give her character her first orgasm. That’s in the second clip if you don’t have the patience to watch how they meet.
Enjoy!

Robert says:
I’m a bit deaf and definitely don’t have an ear for accents, but Brad Pitt’s character is not from Texas, as he mentions that he’s from the Smokey Mountains when addressing the 8 Jewish-American soldiers that owe him a “debit” of 100 nazi scalps. AND HE WANTS HIS SCALPS!
