Lunch Break Video: Ben Cohen is interviewed by CNN about his career and fight against homophobia
Ben Cohen has retired from professional rugby and is now devoting his time to fighting homophobia and bullying.
In an interview he’s just done with CNN, he says:”I don’t like bullies and I don’t like people getting treated unfairly. The reason I want to eradicate homophobia in sports and bullying in general is because I’ve been able to acquired a huge following and with that comes a responsibility.”
“Sports should be welcome to anyone who’s good at it whether you’re perceived as different,” he added. “If you’re good at your sport, that should do the talking.”
