Lunch Break Video: Andre Agassi pays a fond farewell to his mullet wig during visit with David Letterman

I love that Andre Agassi is at such a comfortable place in hos life that he can talk about, with such a sense of humor, the fact that he used to wear a wig on the court.

Most famously, he played the 1990 French Open final worrying the entire time that his mullet wig was going to fall off because it had started to fall apart and been secured only by bobby pins.

In this clip, David Letterman points to a picture of Andre with the mullet and asks: “Why this number?”

Andre explains: “What better way to hide yourself than to wear a mullet?”
