Lunch Break Video: Adam Lambert pays a visit to Chelsea Handler on “Chelsea Lately”

Introduced by host Chelsea Handler as “the gayest thing to come out of American Idol since Clay Aiken,” Adam Lambert paid a visit to Chelsea Lately the other night.

Chelsea immediately brings up that Adam is naturally a redhead and he cracks: “Opie doesn’t do rock and roll.”

He also talks about his career epiphany while on an acid trip and decided to try out for American Idol. Now that’s a lot more scandalous than his American Music Awards appearance!

Responded Chelsea: “I’m so lucky that when I was tripping on acid there was no ‘American Idol.'”

His appearance resulted in Chelsea Lately’s biggest audience ever — 1.3 million viewers.
