Lunch Break Video: A reunited Lucy and Viv meet Joan Crawford on “The Lucy Show”

As amazing as it may seem, there is actually an episode of The Lucy Show that I had not ever seen – until the other day.

Came across this one that must’ve come along in season four or five of her second series which ran from 1962-68. Vivian Vance had left after season 3 but returned about once every season for a guest spot – a tradition she continued in Ball’s third series Here’s Lucy.

This episode, which I’ve posted in its entirety, guest stars Joan Crawford who Lucy and Viv mistakenly think is down and out when they happen upon her house. It’s all rather silly but I enjoyed it for the time capsule elements and just to see that wonderful Lucy-Viv chemistry.
