Lunch Break Video: A perfect match: Adele’s music and scenes from “Brokeback Mountain”
OMG.
I’m pretty much destroyed after watching this.
A YouTube user by the name of Gomnitus has created an amazing video montage of scenes from Brokeback Mountain with Adele’s ballad Someone Like You.
It’s such a perfect fit.
And just seeing those scenes takes you back to how very good Jake Gyllenhaal was in the film and how absolutely brilliant Heath Ledger was. It was the performance of Ledger’s far too-short career.
I have a feeling I’m going to be watching the movie in its entirety again in the coming days.

I don’t think Annie Proulx understood that two old cowboys could hang out, even live together because the West is lousy with old bachelor cowboys. Nobody really paid attention to bachelor cowboys around where I grew up.
True, it didn’t make a tragic love story, but it was closer to the truth.
